We require a contaminated sites specialist or geo/environmental practitioner who has strong communication skills and enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary practice of Engineers, Surveyors and Planners.
The work is all over the South Island, and varied ranging from residential, rural and commercial sites to large scale brownfield development projects.
We are looking for someone who likes having control of their own workloads and projects.
We are aiming to employ a candidate who can demonstrate the following:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering Geology or Environmental Science.
- Have 1 - 5 years of relevant New Zealand experience.
- A sound understanding of the National Environmental Standards.
- The ability to collect and analyse environmental data, and prepare technical reports and site management plans.
- Enjoy working with clients and local and regional authorities
- Geotechnical work experience an advantage.
