OSD is a leading Engineering, Operations and Maintenance services provider that provides whole of life services to asset owners in a range of market sectors including oil & gas, pipelines & facilities, process & refining, water & hydro-transport.  We are an employee owned business with a dedicated team and a strong culture servicing clients throughout Australia and New Zealand with offices in Brisbane, Darwin, Perth and New Plymouth.

We require an experienced Project Manager to join our team in New Plymouth.  Our successful candidate will have previous experience managing multiple small to medium size projects, have a strong Client focus with emphasis on relationship building and a high degree of personal accountability.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Client focal point across the portfolio
• Providing project management expertise within the team ensuring alignment to project goals, objectives and milestones are achieved
• Deliver a portfolio of projects, from scoping, through design, procurement, site works, commissioning and handover to operations
• Plan, monitor, control and report against multiple project timelines, milestones and key performance indicators
• Develop proposals, documentation and presentations to various audiences including the client, project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Identify internal and external resources required for successful project delivery
• Consult with internal stakeholders to fully identify and confirm the scope of the project and obtain project approvals if required
• Identify and document potential risks and develop effective control strategies to minimise these

To be successful you will have:

• 5+ years' experience in Project Management
• A high level of emotion intelligence and a strong client focus 
• A proven record of delivering projects on time and on budget in a multi-disciplinary environment, having accountability for the projects in your portfolio
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Engineering degree or equivalent 
• Knowledge of PMI framework & project lifecycle processes 
• Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship-building skills and leadership skills are a must
• Demonstrate the ability to foster a positive culture within a team, mentoring, guiding and promoting company values
