In this role you will be working for one of New Zealand's premier reinforcing companies. They provide steel reinforcing for many of New Zealand's largest reinforcing building and civil engineering projects.
As a reinforcing steel detailer you will work mainly in the office with some site visits. Your primary responsibility will be detailing quantities of reinforcing steel from construction drawings ensuring the correct sizes and quantities of reinforcing steel are manufactured.
To succeed in this position, it is essential that you have proven skill in being able to understand architectural plans / construction drawings, with the ability to identify where drawings lack sufficient detail. Ideally you have worked as a reinforcing detailer however we are prepared to look at people with construction drafting expertise, structural engineering experience, estimating, site engineering or a successful career in steel fixing. You will need to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the high attention to detail required.
There is an excellent salary with this role. Locations are Auckland.
