Culham Engineering is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our team in Whangarei.
Culham Engineering Company Ltd is a multi-skilled Company based in Whangarei and is one of the largest fabrication facilities in the country, with 60 years’ experience in the business. Culham Engineering specialises in areas of Heavy Fabrication; ranging from the fabrication and installation of structural steel, storage-tank construction, to pressure vessels, heat exchangers and piping.
Culham Engineering is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our team in Whangarei. The CNC Operator is responsible for the processing of metal components in order to fabricate and assemble structural and/or marine forms. You need to be a highly motivated, energetic, quick thinking individual with a flair for technology and an excellent ability to communicate.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Trade Certificate in CNC Operations or Heavy Fabrication would be an advantage
- Heavy Engineering experience
- Excellent attention to detail and conceptual skills
- The ability to read and interpret construction/workshop drawings
- Computer literate
- Understand the DSTV format for operating machines
This position is only open for candidates that are NZ Residents or able to work legally in New Zealand.
