About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer with 12D Design skills to join our Auckland Urban Development team and contribute to a broad range of exciting public & private civil projects, as we continue to expand our civil capability.
Key responsibilities:
- Civil engineering design for land subdivision projects
- To design all components of a typical land development project independently to a high quality and within budget
- To provide input to development and maintenance of designs whilst overseeing procedures, standards and workload programming
- To be able to take a high level of responsibility for project design including authority negotiations and discussions with clients and colleagues
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Extensive experience in using 12D and Autocad
- To be highly motivated, flexible and pragmatic
- Experience in civil engineering design with a focus on urban and development
- A client service focus
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Strong people skills and an ability to work effectively in team environments
- An ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and to work under pressure to deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Design management capability
