Are you an experienced Accountant with a strategic perspective who enjoys the variety and challenge of being a project leader, project implementation, and driving process improvements? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our Global Pipfruit Finance team and fulfill the requirements of this role.
Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager you will assist with the Pipfruit division budgeting, forecast and month end processes. You will lead and manage assigned projects with the systematic use of project management methodology. Additionally, you will work with the Global Management team to champion and operate the Pipfruit Strategic Planning model.
Ideally you will be CA qualified or have worked for at least 5 years in financial and management accounting roles or in a similar industry. You will need strong project management skills and preferably have had experience working with SAP or Business Objects reporting tools. Experience with financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting is essential along with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication skills and proven skills in analysing and interpreting financial information to support decision making are also key in this role. Being able to manipulate substantial amounts of data and create concise, easy to interpret reports will be looked on favourably.
The ability to work independently is a pre-requisite as is an enquiring mind and a willingness to put the required effort in to meet reporting deadlines.
