A knowledgeable Site Manager with some steel structures' experience is required for this well established and successful contractor for their Auckland operation. The salary on offer is in the region of $100-130k, depending on relevant experience. Those in a foreman or supervisor position are encouraged to apply as there is the chance to develop and grow.
The position is to take full responsibility for all site activities and reporting to the project manager. You will be ensuring works are programmed to be delivered on time, controlling trades on-site and ensuring the scope of works is satisfied.
We are looking for:
- Site Management for commercial level projects, with structural steel experience ideal
- Working on projects exceeding $30M
- Health and Safety Supervision
- Subcontractor management experience
- Strong personality and confidence to manage multiple sites
- Quality Assurance experience
- You will have a trade qualification and come from a trades background
You will have an understanding and appreciation of the PM and QS elements of a project – knowing that these guys run the project, and that you run the site.
This role would be a good fit for a candidate who has extensive experience of working on commercial construction projects as a Site Manager, Foreman or Supervisor in Auckland, or anywhere else in NZ. This is a great chance to get on board with a busy contractor in an increasingly busy construction market.
