Contracts Manager | Commercial Contracting
Synonymous with good design and engineering throughout the South Island, my client is recruiting for a Contract Manager to join their Commercial Contracting Team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the purpose of this position is to ensure consistent management of all proposals and contracts for the Contracting Division throughout the Canterbury Region.
As Contracts Manager in a newly created position, you will have the scope and flexibility to make the role your own with the support of an experienced and established Commercial Team.

- Customer Relationship Management
- Manging, delivering and tracking Tenders & Quotes
- Contract Management
- Compliance & Delivery
- Business Development
- Risk Management
- Managing Claims
- Resource Allocation
- Client Management
Skills, Experience & Attributes:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification or extensive Industry Experience
- 5+yrs experience working within New Zealand Contracting Industry
- Proven Industry experience within an Operational, Commercial or Project Management capacity
- Strong experience working within Client Facing & Stakeholder Management positions
- Excellent Communication, Negotiation & Influencing skills
- Understanding on Financial & Budget Plans
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and self-managing capabilities
- Full Drivers Licence
- Travel: Regular travel within Canterbury Region required
