A very successful multinational company working in the High-Rise Building Sector, seeks to appoint a Construction Director to provide leadership and direction to the Construction activities of the Company and especially Senior Project Managers, the Programme Management and Planning teams. The business, which is well funded, is growing rapidly offering an opportunity to the right star to join and help craft a major successful Company.
As the Construction Director your primary responsibilities will be:
- To develop and deliver a vibrant and united Construction Division that achieves success through its people by recruiting only the best team members who understand the actual way a team becomes successful.
- To instil a culture that drives excellence in HSEQ outcomes
- To be a real leader in the Senior Leadership Team and provide your Chief Excetive with the correct advice and guidance.
Successful applicants will possess:
- Tertiary qualification BE Civil/Structural l (or equivalent overseas)
- Demonstrated experience with successfully leading and managing major complex commercial construction projects
- Commercial acumen and a complete understanding of construction, project and site management
- Excellent English language communication skills be it in writing, conversation or presentations.
- Being familiar with NZ or other Countries, like the UK or Australia, Statutes and Regulations, Building Codes, Heath and Safety, Resource Management and Environmental provisions.
