Are you a quantity surveyor that is seeking the opportunity to join a leading consultancy where you get involved in project work from feasibility studies all the way through to completion? If you are then we could be looking for you. Maynard Marks is an award winning national multi discipline consultancy. Due to continued growth we are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to fulfil an important vacancy in our Cost Management team based in Auckland.
The role will include providing support to our Associate Director in the ongoing growth and development of the team. This would provide a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is looking to transition into a management role within a fast-paced multi discipline professional practice.
The successful candidate will have excellent estimation skills and a proven track record as well as a sound working knowledge in New Zealand construction practices. They will also be knowledgeable with NZS3910:2013 Conditions of Contract for Building and Civil Engineering Construction.
The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years practical experience in New Zealand. The candidate would also ideally hold or working towards membership with the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and/or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). For candidates who are working towards their chartership, Maynard Marks are accredited with RICS in providing a structured training programme to assist you in gaining your membership.
