With a fast growing economy, demand for professional business services is very large as most business owners and managers are not skilled in running a business. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager /Busines Partner to represent business services to small to large business clients. We are looking for a person with a strong sales background and at least 3 years' experience gained in a business to business retail or trade environment. This is a unique opportunity to utilise both your both your sales and business skills to join a worldwide team with the best value range of services for small to large businesses.
Business Development Managers /Business Partners can specialise in a number of areas:
- Business planning, strategy and development services
- Business advisory and accounting support services
- Employment Relations and Human Resources support services including recruitment and employee development
- Other business services including Corporate Training
Our clients are a mix of emerging and proven local business owners,. They have a proven track record of success across NZ especially within main city centres. You will be supported by a strong support team to help locate your potential clients and give you every opportunity to build a very rewarding career. All services will be sold in Canterbury area with no need for overnight travel.

What you will be required to do:
- Proactively use the existing business databases to sell business services
- Proactively build a database of new contacts and potential clients
- Complete sales presentations to a variety of business clients
- Ensure proposals are competitive, complete and accurate
- Ensure excellent communication levels between clients and internal team
- Ensure highest levels of client service and continually enhance the reputation of the company
Key position requirements:
- A good appreciation of business to business services
- A passion for helping business owners and their teams with offering quality services
- At least 3 years working in a successful business to business sales role and at 10 years business experience across one or more industries
- Strong communication skills, good presentation skills and a great listener
- Be an eager networker, self motivated to generate and follow up leads
- You will be upbeat and have an outgoing personality and love working with people
- Good computer skills with Microsoft office including Outlook, Excel and Word
