Originally established in the 1950's, this highly regarded Chartered Accountancy Firm has a long association with the Papakura district. Now with 4 Partners and circa 30 staff members, they offer a friendly, down to earth work environment with a fantastic mix of traditional client service combined with a forward-thinking approach. They are business advisors interested in their clients and their clients businesses, rather than just number crunchers. They specialise in small to medium business accounting with advice offered in a friendly and caring environment.
The Job
As a skilled technical accountant with experience working in a NZ based CA Firm, you will be expected to assist clients with their year-end annual accounts and tax returns. Dependent on your level of experience you will assist clients with project work, cash-flow forecasting, and management reporting. Clients will come a variety of industries including commercial organisations, the agricultural sector and family trusts. Your down to earth attitude and sense of humour will see you becoming a well liked, trusted advisor to clients. As an ATE, study support will be offered if requested to the right person.
You
To be successful in this role you will :
- have a minimum of 2 years experience in a NZ based CA Firm
- be confident using a variety of accounting packages including - MYOB AO, Xero, BankLink
- have excellent communication and relationship building skills
