What will you be doing?

The Head of Business Development (NZ) is a crucial role in the business covering both sales and customer success.

You will be responsible for managing obligations, outcomes and relationships for a number of our key Strategic Partners, including companies such as PwC, BMW, AMP, Smales Farm and Villa Maria Estate.

Your key objective will be working alongside our Strategic Partners to deliver on our agreements, build strong relationships and make sure we’re going above and beyond to build incredible brand experiences for our Partners.

You will be responsible for coordinating internal teams (including operations, content and marketing) to ensure all deliverables are met to a world-class standard. You will also work to understand our Partners' strategic objectives and identify opportunities for further collaboration, or areas where we can deliver even more value to our Partners.

Our Head of Business Development (NZ) will also be responsible for sales in the New Zealand market, specifically signing on new Strategic Partners, creating and managing the Unfiltered Live sales strategy as well as developing new initiatives and ideas to push the business forward.

The perfect person for this role will have an insane hunger to grow and succeed, will be relationships-driven, sales-oriented, willing to learn new skills and will take pride in their responsibility to drive key outcomes in the business.

Key attributes include:

  • A strong track-record for execution, closing deals and achieving great results

  • A love for people and the ability to build strong and deep relationships, fast

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Brilliant sales skills (strong B2B sales experience is preferred)

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Able to manage numerous partnership agreements simultaneously, all of which will need obsessive attention and care

  • A thirst for knowledge, growth and education - you must have a strong desire to learn and grow as an individual, as this is what we are all about

  • A creative thinker with the ability to envisage the world as how it should be, not how it is

  • Be able and willing to dedicate long hours to get the job done (hustle). Put simply, being a part of a startup is gruelling. If you're not thick-skinned, determined and hungry for success, meaning you're willing to work some intense hours at times, this is not for you

  • An active contributor to company culture
