On their behalf and as the result of an internal promotion, we are seeking to find a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join their Mt Wellington based team.

The role is predominantly an Account Management / Relationship Sales role, whereby you will be responsible for nurturing the growth of your existing client base, giving amazing service and cementing their loyalty.

However, we do expect that you will also be confident in prospecting and developing new business. There will be new business targets in place to ensure all opportunities to promote the brand and increase business are achieved.

Your days will be spent servicing an extensive network of clients with around 50% of your time being out in the field visiting your clients and the rest of the time in the office responding to quote requests and client communication. A good operator will manage their time between both internal and external sales activity.

As a pivotal member of the team, your customer and market insights will be valued as well as your input in identifying product and brand development opportunities which support the strategic growth of the business.

About you:

  • A proven, successful salesperson with drive and ambition
  • Self-motivated and consistently strive to exceed sales targets
  • You communicate easily at all levels and your client enjoy dealing with you
  • You have experience managing and nurturing the growth of clients while adding to these with targeted prospecting
  • Focused on being abreast of your customers upcoming projects are and being involved in these.
  • A drive to consistently exceed customer expectations
  • Confident computer user and strong quoting skills.
  • A strong technical ability and an interest to learn and upskill.
  • A background in selling Glass, Windows, Aluminium, or possibly from a fabricator, or other comparable building industry.
  • Ability to work independently, managing your client base effectively
