As a leading global supplier of automotive and industrial oil & lube products, this privately owned organisation is looking to continue its growth locally in NZ by focusing their channel activity and putting their customers at the forefront of how they do business.

The Role

An exciting Sales (B.D & Account Management) opportunity has become available to service the Southern region of Auckland. As a key part of the sales team, you will have complete autonomy to deliver sales outcomes within your assigned territory. You will be armed with a strong brand with a great reputation in the market and you will utilise this to forge strong, commercially viable, long term business.

Skills and Experience

As an experienced sales person you will have a high level of resilience and able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Strategic business development skills and able to execute and win new business accounts
  • Multi-channel experience - Distribution, direct to trade, vehicle dealerships, Ag / heavy vehicle markets etc.
  • Strong Relationship management skills and able to grow existing accounts 
  • Strong commercial acumen and able to demonstrate ROI and savings to customers in ways without dropping price
    A self starter who loves chasing sales outcomes and does not have a high need to be 'supervised'
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills and able to achieve outcomes through other departments in the organisation.

Reporting to a Sales Manager based locally, you will be given the support and guidance needed to be successful in your role. The right attitude and a willingness to improve yourself will be key to success with this organisation.
