Provida Foods have recently merged with Davis Food Ingredients making Provida a big name in the food service industry. We are 100% NZ owned and turn over in excess of $300 million a year.
About the role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the further growth and development of and food service sales. This is a territory managers role centred on providing superior sales service to a range of customers. You may well be seeking a new challenge and the opportunity to develop and drive new initiatives in a highly competitive market within a dynamic, customer-oriented company. You will be a deal maker focused on maximising all opportunities!

Skills and experience
Our ideal candidate has:
- A tertiary qualification
- Experience in Sales - preferably in food
- Strong commercial initiative and aptitude
- Clear written and verbal communication
- The ability to handle pressure
- A good attitude and is a strong team player
- Good computer skills
- Energy, motivation and integrity
- Excellent time management skills – you will need to follow a call cycle
- Confidence, motivation and is outgoing!
Your role will involve developing new business, as well as looking after existing customers so you will need to be confident and have the ability to relate and communicate with business owners and purchasing staff. The ability to work autonomously is important. You will need to be disciplined, well organised and proactive and must demonstrate a willingness and commitment to do what it takes to get the results.
