Sales Account Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, people-orientated person with a commitment to sales, service and a professional approach to business. Come and join a high performing, fun and well established sales team. Manage your own substantial portfolio of customers with a well-balanced range of branded products.

The  position is exciting and varied, requiring you to be hardworking, enthusiastic and professional at all times. You will be at forefront of the company, dealing with a wide variety of people on a daily basis and responsible for delivering exceptional customer service.

Hallifax, established in 1957, is one of New Zealand's leading skincare and souvenir suppliers in domestic and international markets, with an excellent reputation for designing manufacturing and distributing branded products. Both the Alpine Silk and Merino skincare brands sit within the portfolio.  The company has its own Christchurch based offices, showroom and warehouse.

 This is the perfect role for a salesperson who is looking to join one of New Zealand's most dynamic and fast paced industries. Join our team as we continue to grow across New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Pacific.

The territory is South Island excluding Queenstown and the Southern Lakes region. Out of town travel of about 10 days per month is required. You will be part of an experienced sales team with support from other team members and Head office.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Drive and determination and attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic
  • Manage key accounts while increasing sales with existing and new customers
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Work with sales plans and budgets
  • Sales experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be offered to the right candidate

The successful applicant will have a full New Zealand driving licence plus the right to work in New Zealand.
