- Six-month fixed term contract with a view to extend

A contract opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Business Partner to join this much loved and market-leading financial services organisation, where the HR function is well respected and valued.
This role will be reporting into the Head of People and will cover day-to-day HR (as the permanent employee is covering a project). This is a typical business partnering position working across a portfolio covering a wide range of HR areas such as ER, Performance, Engagement, Reward, and Organisational Development.
You will be an HR all-rounder with solid generalist skills. Someone who is comfortable with managing and resolving complex HR issues. You will provide expert HR advice to, and broker HR solutions for, a wide range of people leaders and business lines. Your advice across all areas will embed a high-performance culture, as well as identifying and mitigating people related risk. Happy to work autonomously, you will be a trusted advisor to managers, and they will quickly learn that they can trust your judgment. You will demonstrate a level headed and mature approach to your work with high levels of resilience and agility.
You will preferably hold a tertiary qualification and have worked in the generalist space, with a sound understanding of people issues and policies.
This role is based in the CBD and is available for an immediate start.
