Deloitte are looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our award winning National team. We continue to push the boundaries of recruitment excellence in New Zealand and this is an amazing opportunity for you to join a market leading team and increase your experience and exposure to a wide range of recruitment practices.

Here's what you need to know about the role...

You will support business partners nationally, manage the full life cycle of the recruitment process from working alongside the business to building & fostering talent communities, briefing through to placement. Your ability to develop excellent working relationships, influence business partners, candidates and recruitment agencies will be critical to your success in this position. 

You will

  • Create innovative sourcing tactics/strategies to differentiate Deloitte in the market, working with the business to facilitate a ready pipeline of technology, finance and/or consulting candidates in line with the needs of the business (e.g. social media, employee referrals, advertising, networking events etc.).
  • Advise the business on most cost effective and high quality sourcing channels to best meet their unique needs.
  • Deliver a high-quality service that impresses candidates and meets the needs of the business. 
  • Harness data power. Analyse, produce and present reports and metrics to demonstrate time to fill and cost to hire saving as well as other relevant company information and metrics.
  • Drive best practice across selection processes, global mobility policy etc.
  • Work in partnership with stakeholders to understand competitor and market intelligence.
  • Keep learning. Contribute and share ideas on commercial information, talent attraction strategies and process improvement.

About you

You will be a creative, confident, highly commercial recruitment professional who gets excited about taking our talent acquisition to the next level.

  • 3 - 4 years+ recruitment experience ideally within the technology or finance space
  • Demonstrated success in using a variety of sourcing techniques, understands the value of networking online and offline to build your personal brand and enhance the brand of the business.
  • Social engineer, naturally inquisitive, passionate about social recruiting strategies with ability to source using these methods. (LinkedIn, Boolean searching etc.)
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to influence key stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • A positive & resilient attitude with the ability to cope with ambiguity, embrace change, new tech and proactively develop solutions.
  • Sees the value in data driven decisions.
