Your Role:

We have an opportunity for an awesome Customer Logistics Specialist to join us based in our offices at Ensor’s Road. You will be an important part of making sure customer freight is booked and our trains are built correctly, run smoothly, and keeping all teams informed of any delay or progress along the way!

As a Customer Logistics Specialist within our Import/Export (IMEX) team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer cargo is booked and delivered to its final destination in a timely and efficient manner.

You will be on a rotating 8 hour roster with great hours, such as between 6.30am – 7pm Monday to Friday with the opportunity for Saturday overtime once a month

Your Skills:

You will excel at customer service and have ideally worked within freight, logistics or transport industries and be able to work within a busy work schedule. Your strong communication skills and ability to multitask and build effective business relationships will allow you to deal with customers and external stakeholders and adapt to unexpected changes to meet our customer needs .

  • Proven experience working within a multi-faceted customer service environment
  • You can easily multi task while remaining calm under pressure
  • Able to maintain a high level of attention to detail as well as data entry and reporting accuracy
  • A real go-getter with a passion to grow your career within a freight industry
  • Strong analytical capability and can pick up new computer systems easily. Proficiency in the MS Office suite is a must

You will excel in a fast paced environment, where you will be faced with time pressures, customer demands and operational disruptions outside of your control. You will rise to the challenge and enjoy the satisfaction of solving problems, and working within constraints to provide the best outcomes.
