About the Role

This is an exciting career opportunity for a recent IT Graduate to join a successful and fast growing software company based in Napier.

You will have a passion for technology and enjoy working with customers to help them resolve technical issues and efficiently administer their MAGIQ Software applications.

You will join our Central Operations team based in our New Zealand headquarters in Napier. This role will see you working closely with a broad range of customers across a variety of industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Apply your IT skills and knowledge to troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade customer's technical environments
  • Log support calls; document issues and provide resolutions to customers via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to deliver high quality service outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • Recent IT/Computer Science degree or equivalent Tertiary qualification
  • Some IT Support experience would be advantageous, but not essential
  • A strong interest in Cloud SaaS deployment
  • An understanding and some exposure to the following technologies:
    • Windows Server
    • SQL Server / MySQL
    • Linux operating systems (CentOS/Redhat)
    • Microsoft IIS
    • Active Directory/Group Policy
  • Ability to solve technical problems effectively and clearly communicate with customers via telephone and email
  • A willingness to learn and an energetic and curious outlook
