About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Frankton based Tech Team as a Technology Operations & Support Manager, at our Queenstown Bungy Headquarters

We'll provide the opportunity to continue developing your skills & experience, in a varied & technically innovative environment, if you can bring the right combination of experience, aptitude, initiative & commitment &, of course, the ability to deliver service with a smile!

Duties include working alongside the Tech team, managing & supporting the usual corporate ICT environment, the breadth of Photo & Video technologies & exciting new process automation

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on, robust support & help desk services to the business & Crew, across the breadth of technical solutions used across the business
  • Managing & leading the internal Tech Support Team
  • Working with other key ICT personnel on new projects & initiatives
  • Playing a key role in the development & maximisation of new & existing technologies & processes
  • Mentoring & upskilling other members of the Tech Team to drive performance & ensure excellent customer service, response times & robust processes
  • Ensuring that customers obtain the best possible P&V products & services
  • Ensuring that the organisation obtains maximum commercial & organisational benefits from its use of technologies
  • Departmental strategic planning

Skills and experience

If you think you've got what it takes to be our next Technology Operations & Support Manager, you'll need to be/have

  • Relevant Degree, Certificate, Qualification &/or extensive experience at a Senior Technology Engineering level
  • Demonstrated strong people & team leadership capabilities
  • Comprehensive & hands-on knowledge & experience of ICT infrastructure – spanning Corporate Level ICT Environments - LANs, WANs, Virtual Server Environments, Wireless Technologies, Business Systems & Applications
  • Experience with Audio, Video & Photography products & solutions, preferably!
  • A logical & methodical approach to problem solving & solution development
  • Exceptional customer support
  • Excellent under pressure & able to prioritize competing team & individual workload demands
  • Awareness of new developments across the technology & media sector
  • Experience or knowledge in the ITIL framework
  • NZ work eligibility
  • Someone that doesn't think twice about fitting hard work & fun times into the same day!

We're looking for long term commitment &, as a leading Adventure Tourism company, offering adrenaline fueled fun to the masses, operating 7 days/week, 364 days/year, across multiple sites, you maybe required to work outside of standard working hours, to cover business operations, where necessary
