We are working with a leading Insurance Company who are building out a number of new projects in the online space. Can you help them take the customers on the next part of the journey?


The role:

You’ll be responsible for helping deliver a game-changing technology. The offering will connect asset owners with the sharing economy and ecosystem around them, and you will be right at the centre of making TWO major product launches happen in the next year.   Along with all that, the role also means:

• Ensuring the requirements and design specifications are defined and well understood.
• Working closely with the UX Designer to validate assumptions with customers and capture detailed requirements throughout the design process.
• Liaising with stakeholders within New Zealand and in the US.
• Immediate start
• CBD location close to Britomart

  
Who you are:
  
You’ll need to be an established software BA with a strong technical knowledge of software systems, and a unique combination of experience, expertise, and passion to succeed in this role.  In a nutshell, the following sounds like you: 

• 10+ years of software business analysis and a strong technical knowledge of software systems (e.g. database, API)
• Worked in commercial product or bespoke software development or service provider organisation
• A strong customer focus and user focus
• Comfortable with proceeding at speed in a start-up style environment (although this company is much bigger than a start-up)
• Analysing and communicating the complexities of business and technical domains
• Agile business analysis – working with features, user stories, acceptance criteria and product backlogs
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills including with external clients
• An agile mindset – adaptable to change, collaborative, maintain a focus on continuous improvement, and continuous delivery of business and customer value
• Good understanding of SDLC principles and the software development lifecycle including agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean and Continuous Delivery
• Previous experience of working with 3rd parties for data integration and hardware integration particularly valued
