Security Architect
Your new company
A leading government agency is looking for a Security Architect to join their team at their office based in Wellington CBD. You will provide strong leadership to a well-established team and help develop an ongoing programme to ensure the agencies business direction and security requirements are well supported.
Your new role
As an experienced Security Architect you will be required to:
- Monitor all security administration procedures to ensure compliance and review systems for any actual or potential breaches in security
- Understand industry standard architecture frameworks such as Gartner
- Demonstrate resilience and ability in being able to deal with high pressure situations and multiple personalities
- Analyse and diagnose complex design and strategy problems
What you'll need to succeed
An ideal candidate for this role will have experience with:
- Security-specific architecture methodology, such as SABSA
- Enterprise architecture methodology including Zachman or TOGAF
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage workloads efficiently
- Working with cloud based systems or designing digital systems
- Professional security management certificate is desirable, such as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
