Intermediate Full Stack Developer, NodeJS, work with cutting edge product!

Backed by one of the most renowned and respected brands in New Zealand our client is a digital product development company that is looking to revolutionise the retail market here in New Zealand. Backed by some of the brightest and most experienced minds in the e-Commerce space this is an organisation with lofty ambitions and they are now looking to scale their team for a January 2018 kick off!
  
The Role
This role has something in it for everyone! A mixture of NodeJS, Python, JavaScript, Cloud, and relational database design. We are looking for numerous backend focused developers with a sound understanding of object orientated programming, continuous integration, agile, and test automation. You will have the opportunity to drive forward a new bespoke product with feature-rich design which will be using the latest and greatest technology. 
  
The Successful Candidate Will Have

• 2.5+ years experience with full stack development with a backend focus
• Expertise with NodeJS will be looked upon very favourably but we will also consider Python or Java
• Experience in the cloud with either Azure or AWS
• The absolute key to being considered for this role is strong relational database design expertise. This must be your strength.
• Any experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks/libraries such as VueJS, Angular or React is highly advantageous
• Sound knowledge of CI/CD as well as Agile/Scrum delivery
• Sound English communication skills. These roles are only available for candidates presently located in New Zealand with the required visa to legally work in New Zealand full time.
