My client is a well-established and successful IT Managed Service Provider who bring enterprise level experience and capability to small and medium businesses across the Greater Wellington region.They provide networking, server, security, VOIP, desktop and cloud migrations and deployments to a range of businesses across the government, construction, legal, health and finance industries. They have strong server, virtualisation and networking expertise.
Due to sustained growth they are looking to hire a highly motivated Level 1-2 Service Desk Support Technician who is passionate about technology and customer focused.

The Role:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Provide a high level of service and technical support to customers over the phone or via the ticketing system.
- Provide technical support services for software, hardware and devices.
- First level support calls from customers.
- Escalate calls to Level 2-3 Engineers.
- 2 years of relevant, similar IT experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Tertiary qualification in IT or industry accreditation
- Technical understanding / exposure to some of the following: Remote Desktop, Windows 7/8/10, Active Directory, Office 365, TCP/IP based networking, Apple Mac, Ticket Management.
