An opportunity has come up for a Junior Systems Engineer who is looking to grow their career in the infrastructure space, within the Christchurch region. Due to strong growth, you will join a team of 10 Engineers, who have a focus on providing infrastructure and cloud services/solutions to key clients across the Canterbury region and wide.

No one day will be the same, as you will be working with different customers across a number of industries potentially nationwide. You won't just be providing escalated support, but providing solutions that are best suited to the customer on a project implementation

The successful candidate will have come from a background in the Service Desk space, providing escalated remote and onsite support (Level 3+) within a Microsoft environment, who is looking to make that step up into System Engineering.

In addition to the above, you will have the following skills:

• Solid working experience providing Level 3 (escalated) support both onsite and remotely.
• Strong communication skills working with external stakeholders/customers of all levels (including CxO).
• Solid working experience within the Microsoft environment, including Hyper-V, VMWare, Windows Servers 2008+ and more
• Strong working history working with Cloud based tools
• Working experience supporting Office 365 and RDP Gateway
