An opportunity has come up for a BI Developer/Consultant to start on an initial 6 month fixed term contract within the Christchurch region. You will be part of an organisation where the primary goal is to increase Christchurch's profile with bold ambition, excitement and social activity, not just on the NZ map, but the world map.
As a BI Developer, your primary responsibility will be to research and provide comprehensive recommendations on the most appropriate tools and technologies to use in order for a data warehouse databse to be built. From there you will be comfortable to build this data warehouse autonomously as there is no BI team yet established. once built, you will then have the responsibility to provide reporting analysis from the data that is being captured to a number of internal stakeholders acros the organisation.
In order to be successful for the position, you will need:
- Commercial experience across ETL and Business Intelligence
- Working history of SQL Scripting and Power BI
- Experience building data warehouses from the ground up.
- WherescapeRED advantageous
- Consultancy experience
- Commercial experience providing reporting analysis
- Excellent communication skills providing technical recommendations in a non-technical manner,
This is an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential to be permanent position as the BI team becomes established.
