Role Profile
In this job, you will primarily be involved in Ribbonet jointing and deployment of the Ribbonet network in accordance with project objectives and specifications.
You will need to demonstrate initiative and proactivity and your knowledge of the industry will mean you are able to anticipate potential problems before they occur.
Because you will be in a pivotal delivery role it is essential that you are a clear and concise communicator who will update your manager in a timely manner.
You will need to be self-motivated and be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, deployment and testing of the Ribbonet network in accordance with project objectives and specifications and as directed.
- Receive and secure materials; responsible for care of materials on site
- Sign off on packing slips and submit to UFB Administrator to confirm goods received
- Site Level Liaison with other project stakeholders (client, other trades, consultants etc) with regards to clarification and co-ordination
- Planning and preparation of work-faces
- Liaison with other trades, site co-ordination
- Maintenance of the site diary
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience and comprehensive understanding of the UFB Ribbonet network
- Ability to maintain accurate site records including test results, 'as built' information and a site diary
- Ability to read and understand technical documents such as specifications, schedules and drawings
- A thorough understanding of the management of safety and hazards
