Fixed term for six months
Member Services Representative.
The New Zealand Police Association and the Police Welfare Fund provides a range of services to Police officers (both currently serving and retired) and their families. Our services include medical insurance, life insurance, fire and general insurance, a holiday home network and access to the Police and Families Credit Union.
The Member Services Centre is the first point of contact for members so the ability to be customer focused at all times is a must. The aim of the Member Services Centre is to answer members' questions quickly and efficiently and to provide front line services for the other business groups within our organisation.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong technological skills
- A proven ability to multi task and pick up a broad range of new information quickly
- A high level of initiative with the ability to solve problems by thinking outside the square
- Attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Previous call centre experience would be advantageous but not necessary
We are looking for applicants who are reliable, punctual, team players with the confidence to deliver excellent customer service.
Ideally we are seeking a person who is outgoing, presentable, customer focussed proactive and keen to join our team, with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
