What’s the job?

The role of the Saleforce.com Functional Consultant is to own the design and delivery of functional build (i.e. configuration focused) for Sales Cloud within the Salesforce platform and share ownership of the overall architecture of the platform.

What you’ll do

  • Own the requirements and design of BAU enhancements and minor/medium projects. Own and drive the business outcome.
  • Review proposed solutions for best practice and fit existing configurations across the Salesforce platform.
  • Work with the team to provide design and solutions workshops for changes, new features, and platform optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the functional team across the Salesforce platform.
  • From a solution perspective either be responsible for developing the solution directly (if configuration) or alternatively work with 3rd party consultants to develop the technical solution.
  • Represent the Salesforce platform internally at Xero and champion its success and use.
  • During parts of the system life cycle, weekend and night-time work may be required due to having offices in US, UK, AU, and NZ.

What you need

  • Hands-on experience and an in-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM/Force.com platform
  • We will also consider candidates highly skilled in another CRM system with proven leadership experience looking to move to Salesforce technology.
