The opportunity:
Be a part of a hyper-growth SaaS business where practical software engineering principles are put first, founded here in New Zealand. The success of their range of digital products can be put down to the way in which they develop and deliver their code. They believe in having the right process in place to allow multiple releases daily, then letting their teams explore. A flat management structure encourages input from the entire team to ensure a considered approach.   

Company profile:
So what's this all about then?  What's different about them as compared to every other upcoming SaaS deployed product development business on these fair Auckland or NZ shores?  Well, funnily enough, they are near the water of the viaduct (a stone's throw from the office). That aside, these guys aim for you to be able to set up, process and execute a mobile payment from 'I've never used this app before' to 'payment paid' in under a minute.  Every ensuing payment will take a hell of a lot less time for you to do.

How do they do this?  A very clever combination of knowledge of payment requirements internationally, a highly integrated back-end platform managing and securing the payment systems as well as a beautifully engaging UX that is simple to use and interact in.  In addition, they make equal feature apps across Android and iOS that are regularly reinvigorated by rapid feature development and releases.

The fit:
They are looking for is primarily a strong software engineer and developer who embraces the fundamentals and wants to optimize their standard of productivity and output.  Someone who enjoys working in an environment that is fleet-footed and iterative, happy to change a process or tool if there is one better out there.

A practical commercial knowledge of, and high proficiency with:

• React/Redux (they use typescript)
   
• C# ASP.NET MVC (Core is a bonus)
   
• Entity Framework
   
• MySQL
   
• AWS
   
• Writing scalable modular code
