BI Developer

Platinum Recruitment are excited to be working alongside this locally based organisation to find a Senior BI Developer to work out of their Dunedin office.  This is an excellent and rare opportunity for a BI Developer to progress their career.

The role of the BI developer is to assist in the building, implementing and supporting of BI solutions throughout the business and the role has a heavy emphasis on stakeholder engagement and customer service as you will be exposed to all aspects and customers (Internal and External) of the business.

The BI Developer will be responsible for on-going process improvements, data warehouse design, development and maintenance and related BI technologies.  Ensuring the right people get the right information at the right time is crucial. 

The successful candidate will need: 

• Previous experience working across all stages of the BI life-cycle, including development and implementation as well as testing and deployment
• A tertiary qualification in computer science and/or minimum of 4 years experience in a relevant position
• In-depth knowledge of databases, particularly SQL service
• Experience in VBA Programming
• Proven experience in Microsoft Excel and the ability to build complex excel formulas
