Pathway Charitable Group is a Christchurch based Social Enterprise.  The history of Pathway is about saying yes to helping people when they need it the most.  Established in 1998, our focus is on providing opportunities for people to make a fresh start with new tools, skills and possibilities.  We do this with a mix of social services that work in tandem with our business divisions.

OakTree Devanning is an employment arm of Pathway Charitable Group and in addition to its commercial goals, has a mission to achieve social employment objectives. Oak Tree has been operating in both Christchurch and Auckland since 2002 and is a growing and dynamic innovator in its niche market of container devanning, with strong relationships with some of New Zealand's largest logistics operators.

We are looking for a hard working part-time Administrator to assist in the daily operations and administration of our Penrose office.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager and Auckland Branch Manager. your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with customer queries, requests and work bookings
  • Assist with the processing of staff wages in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers and staff in a professional manner
  • Accurately enter and update customer and staff data into CRM system
  • Assist with the smooth day to day running of the Auckland office
  • Answer and assist with incoming calls
  • General administrative duties

For this position we are looking for someone who:

  • Can maintain a high level of accuracy with quotes, record keeping and filing systems
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and can work with people from all walks of life
  • Will be committed to the use of CRM (SalesForce) software
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has resilience, enthusiasm and team spirit but is able to work independently
  • Has good time management with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Has good problem solving skills
  • Is computer literate

This is a part-time position of twenty (20) hours, working Monday - Thursday 9am - 2pm.
