We are looking for a passionate, motivated and high performing coordinator to join and work with our Finance, Facilities, Planning and Procurement teams within the Corporate business group at Land Information New Zealand (LINZ).

When you buy, sell or develop a property, you and your bank rely on LINZ to make sure the property's title is clear and it has been surveyed accurately. 

LINZ is in charge of all New Zealand's maps and charts so you don't get lost, on land as well as on the water.  Knowing where things and people are is also important when government and the private sector make decisions about New Zealand's development.  LINZ is also involved in decisions about who from overseas can buy New Zealand land and business, through the Overseas Investment Office. 

The Corporate group supports LINZ with specialised services, advice, knowledge and technology, making sure the organisation runs smoothly and effectively. We translate strategic and operational decisions into action; help the organisation manage change; and support LINZ to plan and deliver services for New Zealanders.

This role is the Personal Assistant to the CFO. In addition, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support in the following areas: 

  • Providing coordination support for key programmes of work across the team
  • Administrative support around travel, purchase orders, expense claims, meetings and events, and registrations for external conferences
  • Month end financial processing
  • Assistance with the professional preparation of documentation (presentations, reports, technical documentation) and proofreading
  • Assistance with people processes, such as recruitment and induction
  • Monitoring and assisting with the management of deadlines and timeframes

You will have the opportunity to work on projects according to your areas of interest.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, great relationship skills and the ability to work across teams. You will also need to be a team player, willing to learn, adaptable, enthusiastic, and a self-starter. Good communication skills, including written and verbal, is essential and you must have an eye for detail.
