VETERINARY NURSE WITH PIZAZZ AND PASSION NEEDED!!
Have you dreamed of joining a great nursing team where you are supported and given the opportunity to do lots of cool stuff? Using all the bells and whistles (our nurses can show you how or you can show the vets how!). We have two nurses per vet so you always get to tag team! Our fantastic vets are fun, highly skilled and appreciate and respect how superb our nurses are!
Our fulltimers work four days a week so you get three days off to put your feet up and have a life outside your job! The only weekend work is a short Saturday 1 in 4 roster with two other support staff. No Sundays. No after hours. No public holidays.
We are a private practice in East Auckland and have a large clientele with super cool patients and exciting medical and surgical cases. Partake in sushi and coffee shouts and dumpling runs and enjoy never ending supplies of cake and chocolate.
What we would love is a bubbly vivacious hardworking nurse that never stops smiling and answers the phone with sunshine and rainbows. We have dedicated receptionists but our nurses still have to create strong bonds with our clientele. You can totally have a cry and share some moral support when the most gorgeous patient ever loses a fight for their life.
It's a no brainer you gotta love animals, even if they try to eat you or empty anal glands on you. Be prepared to rodeo giant rottweilers and have cuddles with cute puppies. At the same time as mopping up vomit, mask and glove up for diarrhoea duties and emptying the overflowing bin instead of walking past it!
We work extensively with the cat charity Lonely Miaow so there are always lots of kittens and rescue work along with some pretty incredible near death miracles. Our staff put 110% into those animals that have nobody else.
We have our own registered charity The Rock Vets and we provide all of the vet care and travel to the beautiful island of Niue regularly to run our free clinics. These clinics feed our hearts and provide an extraordinary insight into what a difference we can make in the world.
ONLY apply if you are a diploma qualified nurse sorry! This is a fast paced clinic and you need to have some experience to get by!
