Since 1925 Cholmondeley Children’s Centre, situated in beautiful Governors Bay has operated as a charitable organisation offering urgent and planned respite care and education for children between the ages of 3 and 12, and support for their families/whānau during times when their own resources and support networks are not enough.
Cholmondeley is looking for a child focused, team orientated leader to lead, guide and empower a fabulous team of child and youth care practitioners.
This role includes an interesting mix of practice across a number of disciplines which makes it an amazing role for anyone experienced or qualified in health, education, social work and care of children and young people. This is unique leadership role. As part of the clinical team you are involved in the rostering, supervision and support of teams of passionate CYCP staff and volunteers.
Fun, energetic and flexible the team leader needs to be driven to provide the best possible care and support for the children and families that use our service. A great communicator and organiser, you'll be always put the child first. This roles includes shift work and on-call responsibilities and requires weekend work on a rostered basis.
You'll need to demonstrate:

Excellent communication skills to children and adults alike

This role is fixed term for 1 year.
