Detail information about job Supported Bail Programme - Youth Worker Role. Terms and conditions vacancy

Reconnect Family Services works with a range of young people with high and complex needs, offering a number of programmes that provide care, protection and youth justice services.  We believe in reconnecting children and young people to make a positive contribution to whanau, community and society.

We are looking to appoint a staff member to our Supported Bail Programme.

This role involves providing one to one support for young people on bail.  Putting in place an individual plan as a foundation, the role seeks to prevent the young person from re-offending whilst on bail through the implementation of a varied and constructive daily programme.

The position is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
On occasion the role may be required to work Thursday to Monday early evening work, however the primary intention is that this is a role that traverses the weekdays.

The successful applicant will be working from Manukau City and may be required to work across Metropolitan Auckland.

Requirements include a clean current full driver's licence (to cover manual/automatic), as well as satisfactory Police, Oranga Tamariki, and Medical checks.

If you are motivated with attributes and skills to work with young people, you will be part of a successful team working across Auckland.
