HIPPY, Home Interaction Programme for Parents and Youngsters works with families to prepare children for school success by fostering cognitive development.
We are currently seeking a Coordinator for the North Shore site which is located at Beach Haven Primary School. The Co-ordinator is responsible for all aspects of the local programme implementation and development. This is a permanent full time position to start July 2018.
To be successful in this role you will have;
- Tertiary qualification in education, social sciences or human services, and experience in teaching, social work, psychology or community work.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), leadership, organisational and budgeting skills.
- Experience with young children.
- Experience in adult education or counselling.
- Experience coordinating school or community based projects.
- Experience in empowering people in a multi-cultural setting
- Ability to promote inter-agency liaison in support of the programme.
- Ability to work under the guidance of a local advisory group.
