The School of Veterinary Sciences at Massey University, Palmerston North, invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Dairy Cattle Health and Production.

This is a permanent, full-time position which is ideally suited to an ambitious dairy cattle veterinarian who wishes to develop their career in dairy cattle herd health and production. You will participate in teaching via lectures and practical sessions in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and on-farm visits.

This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to develop your career under the guidance of veterinary and animal scientists with world class expertise in pastoral animal health, preventative medicine, pastoral nutrition, information systems, theriogenology and epidemiology. It would provide you with the opportunity to attain a higher degree or prepare for specialist qualifications.

You must hold a veterinary degree registrable in New Zealand and have significant clinical experience. Additional post-graduate qualifications, such as membership of the Australian college, would be advantageous.
