The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager you will drive continuous improvement in the quality performance of the Hamilton manufacturing operation.  You will be exposed to a diverse range of products, challenges and opportunities where you will be required to build quality and performance excellence into our processes which will add value to our business and our customers’ businesses. 

The role requires a mix of data driven analysis with soft personal skills enabling you to lead, coach and role model behaviours creating focus and commitment to key actions that will align resources in a dynamic multidepartment manufacturing environment.

The Person

Ideally you are an accomplished world-class manufacturing professional, or a high potential practitioner looking to energise your career. Tertiary qualified in a technical or managerial discipline, exposure to Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and a proven track record in delivering results is key to securing this role.

To ensure success:

  • You will be degree qualified in an engineering/science/managerial discipline
  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing/operations leadership role
  • Have had exposure to leading continuous improvement methodologies 
  • Experience in coaching performance of teams/ individuals who do not report directly to you
  • Computer skills – Office suite, plus SAP (preferred) 
  • A high level of written and numerical data competency
  • Knowledge of quality and food safety systems is an advantage but not essential to begin this role.
