We are looking for an analytical person to manage the process and procedures of importing our product portfolio from around the world. The role is dynamic and the person taking up the position will be dealing from suppliers to customers in a days work.
Key Skills to include;
• Some experience in import documents and shipping would be good.
• Good IT skills, confident to find the details in the system.
• Purchasing and inventory management.
• Scheduling and attention to detail – accuracy.
• Confident on Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent data entry skills.
Your approach to work will be efficient and organised, you must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to relate to others easily, be a multi-tasker who is proactive and finds a solution rather than a problem. You must be able to handle pressure and deadlines.
We are a busy import distribution company with a number of housewares brands; you will be liaising with suppliers from all over the world so your attention to detail is important. Experience in freight forwarding and knowledge of current import procedures will be highly regarded, but more importantly is the aptitude to absorb and manage data, enquiries and procedures.
