The opportunity

The role

You will be based at the customers' offices in Mangere and be responsible for the baseline and promotional demand forecasts for a range of products supplied to the customer distribution centres. This is an autonomous role reporting to the NZ Supply Planning Manager and is responsible for managing the relationship, monitoring and controlling stock levels and delivering the service level targets.

Skills and experience

The company seeks an experienced Planner who can hit the ground running, and has the following:

• Knowledge of inventory management and (sales) planning within a retail environment (vendor management ideal).
• Experience with managing key accounts and stakeholders.
• Sound commercial and financial acumen.
• A customer service and continuous improvement focus.
• Attention to detail and is highly organised.
• Computer skills - minimum intermediate level skills with replenishment (ERP) systems and MS applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).
