These are full-time, permanent roles and are primarily located at Airport Oaks in Auckland South.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the primary focus of the roles is to operate high speed conversion machinery which converts plastic film into a final product, ready for printing (and/or) delivery directly to our waiting customers.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensure production is packaged to quality and customer standards and specification.
- Ensure daily and weekly targets are met to achieve production plan.
- Maintain critical hygiene standards and conduct daily, weekly and monthly master cleaning schedule for converting.
- Maintain accurate inventory, production and quality records.
- To participate in and maintain QSE (Quality, Safety and Environmental) standards.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of the converting operation.
- Liaise with machine setters, team leaders and the manager.
Ideally you will have a strong grasp of the English language (both spoken and written) a high mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably using high speed packaging machinery. You must also be prepared to work shifts (days or nights) and be capable of some heavy lifting at times.
