Quadrant Pacific, one of the largest providers of Shipping Services in New Zealand is looking to recruit an experienced person to fill our Import, Export, and Customs Broking role.
This is a front line position requiring excellent customer services and communication skills together with a high level of understanding of compliance issues for Regulatory Authorities within New Zealand.
Skills required:
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
- Valid Full NZ Customs Pin for Import and Export Clearances.
- Minimum of 2 years' Freight Forwarding/Customs experience in New Zealand is a must.
- Experience in Tariff classification and Entry writing, plus sound knowledge of the Customs and Excise Act and Regulations.
- A high level of understanding of Airfreight and Seafreight shipments and how they transact
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid NZ Drivers Licence
- Proof of New Zealand Residency
