Fabrication Team Member

The Company

We are a rapidly growing family owned business, operating for over 10 year's in Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands known for our supply nd install of aluminium joinery in both the residential and commercial sectors across Northland and Auckland. Customers range from the homeowner doing a small renovation to large construction companies building multi story office blocks. Manufacturing from a 1000m2 purpose built modern state of the art factory our company is on the growth path and is always innovating, creating and evolving, a true industry leader which is on the lookout for someone new to join our great team. 

The role will be factory based, with an expectation that the incumbent will demonstrate the highest levels of on-time delivery compliance, quality and productivity in their own fabrication work and supporting their team to meet similarly high standards every day. There will also be many opportunities to be involved in other aspects of the manufacturing process, with manufacturing training and cross departmental interaction encouraged from day one.

Critical to success in this role will be;

Skills and experience;

• Organized & efficient
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Excellent technical ability, and conversant with construction drawings and dimensions.
• A quick learner with a retentive mind
• Highly motivated and able to take "ownership" of role
• Ability to see the big picture along with high level of attention to detail
• Able to coordinate and work effectively with all stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Medium level of computer (PC) literacy
• Full NZ Driver's license essential

While formal fabrication or trade qualifications will be highly regarded, they are not critical to this role.
