The role:
As a Senior Business Improvement Analyst, you'll be supporting Customer and other divisions to operationalise the business strategy through generating value added, actionable, data driven insights to support fact-based decision making. This will be achieved through a core focus on data, process, and business analytics.
In addition, as a senior member of the team, this role will support the resolution of complex business problems, influence and manage key stakeholders, and ensure activities undertaken align and deliver to the overall strategy and strategic KPIs.
You will also be:
- Engaging successfully with stakeholders who deliver outcomes for end users, ensuring that the analysis and insights are fully understood
- Preparing and distributing operational reports
- Identifying and investigating data quality issues
- Supporting the development of data analytics skills within the team by providing training and guidance
- Supporting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation
About you:
You’ll be comfortable working in a complex and challenging environment where’ll be able to use data and insights for continuous improvement, operational decisions, product and performance outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong data focus with an ability to interpret and analysis data
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent mathematical skills. Statistics knowledge strongly desired
- Process improvement experience
- Advanced application skills; including Excel, Power Point and Access
- In depth understanding of data structure, data integrity and working with large data sets
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for preparing and delivering presentations and reports to executive level
