VetSouth is a privately-owned group of veterinary clinics and distribution assets servicing the rural sector in New Zealand and Victoria in Australia. They will work to raise the standards of financial information, insight and reporting across the business to better inform decision making. This role requires a client focus and ability to both appreciate and react to the growing commercial awareness of farmers as customers. The CFO position will also be responsible for the Company Secretary role. This will require duties such as shareholder administration, board and SMT meeting management, and various secretarial duties.

A strong technical background is required and could come from an early career in professional services or corporate finance, where economic modelling and transaction analysis are prevalent. Strong networks among external services firms and banks are advantageous.
