The Warehouse Group (TWG) has its own fleet of vehicles delivering to customers across New Zealand. We are on the search for a high performing individual to join our team as the Fleet Manager! We are looking for someone who can look at challenge the status quo, while identifying opportunities and implementing them.
As the Fleet Manager, you will lead the Auckland customer delivery team and also work in conjunction with our sites around New Zealand to ensure that their customer delivery operations are managed in a professional, productive and cost efficient manner.
Your vast experience in the Logistics and Transport will enable you to effectively manage the customer delivery operation and develop new services as required. Your natural ability to build relationships across a diverse range of people is imperative for this role, as you will be dealing with anyone from carriers, team members, truck drivers to senior managers across the business.
With a passion for leadership, you will effectively develop and coach your team to achieve outstanding results, continue driving motivation and provide planning and organising support.
You will be competent in weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on operational performance with the ability to analyse and interpret detailed data.
- Manage our own drivers and fleet to deliver a fantastic service to our customers.
- Proactively monitor and maintain our own & leased fleet for compliance and performance.
- Control costs to budget through ongoing continuous improvement.
- Ability to develop team members to deliver high performance
- Responsibility for the procurement and maintenance of the nationwide delivery fleet
- Implement technology to provide customers with improved delivery tracking
