We have a full time vacancy for an Export Operator in our Auckland office. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so ideally you will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
Your Tasks
- Handling customer requests and giving quotations on export services.
- Keeping customers informed of shipment status and exceptions.
- Processing general cargo export shipments.
- Ensure all Export shipments leave Schenker on time.
- Compliance with all regulatory requirements including Customs, MPI and RACA.
- Dealing with and resolving customer complaints.
Your Profile
- Sound knowledge of all Export department functions.
- Experience with Perishable products
- Professional and competent when dealing with external and internal clients.
- Exceptional organisational skills along with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Available for flexible and additional working hours, including weekend rosters.
